Dale Underwriting Partners (“Dale”), the trading name for Dale Managing Agency Limited’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 1729, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Cordell as Head of North America Casualty effective January 2026, further strengthening its leadership capabilities in the casualty (re)insurance market.
Based in London, Peter will be responsible for leading Dale’s North America Casualty business and will report to Ian Bridge, Active Underwriter.
Peter joins Dale from MS Amlin, where he served as Head of Treaty Casualty and Financial Lines, overseeing a global portfolio including Casualty Treaty, Trade Credit, Surety, Political Risk, Mortgage, and Cyber Reinsurance. He brings over 20 years of industry experience, having begun his career at Everest Re in 2005. In 2012, he joined the North American Casualty team at Amlin Syndicate 2001, and was promoted to his most recent leadership role in 2020.
